This past weekend had to be the best weekend of my life.
Seriously.
It included the following:
Tanning.
Shopping by myself.
(which btw NEVER happens)
New Friends.
Drinks.
Movie: It's Complicated.
Movie Theater Popcorn
(Butter Please)
Flip Flops
(this should explain its perfectness...)

Alright, we all know I am a SAHM.
I love it. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
I couldn't imagine not being home with my children.
But there is a point in my day where I need a break...
away from cooking, tempertantrums, cleaning and wiping hineys...
Did I mention cooking and cleaning??
It's starting to take toll on my sanity.
Hubbs has a car, it has a busted up tire...
therefor he drives my car to work...everday.
New tire is sitting on the porch..
has been for 3 months...
yes Hubbs can be lazy...
I feel like a hermit.
I go nowhere all day..
I think this is why...
I'm loosing my patience.
and
while sitting home all day....
I've come to realization that I have no other life...
outside my children, husband, and home....
Which is perfectly fine...
but I need a break...
just for a few hours...
to regain my sanity.
Thus is why I applied for a job at the place I tan...
I need adult conversation and interaction...
So, I met with the Manager Monday...
I should know something by Friday.
Im excited, fingers are crossed!
Alright, So I whined and I told you about the job...
Wanna hear about the honeymoon part??
Of course you do...
Hubbs and I didn't take a "real" honeymoon...
We had what was an assumed honeymoon, but we were not alone....
entire family was in the house the night of both of our weddings...
It was nice to spend the time with them, but honeymoons mean "alone" time...
So this July 9th will be our 5 year anniversary...
We are finally taking that honeymoon we have always dreamt of!!
Playa Mujeres, Cancun!!!
We will be spreading our wings and flying to you...
July 2010!!

Good luck on the job! That is one reason I can't be a SAHM...I have to have the adult interaction. I could, however, be a part time, or even 3/4 time SAHM. THAT, I would love!

Good luck with the job!!! I would LOOOOVVVEEE to work at a tanning place. My sister used to work at one that was part movie rental place and part tanning salon. I would have loved to have that job. So I hope you get it! And congrats on having a honeymoon!!! Jordan and I didn't really have one either. Or a wedding really so I'd like to have a vow renewal for our 5th wedding anniversary and maybe a honeymoon.

I think the job is a great idea, it will keep you from going crazy.

Good, good luck on the job. I just started working part time (literally, a few days a month) at an upscale resale children's clothing shop in town. I LOVE IT. Grown ups talk to me. And, I don't have to put anyone in time out.
I don't make much money, but it's heaven!
