This year has been a BETCH stressful one.

I don't care what drops from the sky NYE,

as long as I'm bringing it in with 3 of the most amazing people I share my life with.

I'm truly ready to freeze my boootay off.

Spend the night overlooking beautiful Mobile.

Cuddling with Hubbs and dancing around the park with my babies.

2009 has been a year I won't forget.

A lot of good times mixed with some bad ones.

But life isn't always perfect.

After I published it, I read it one more time, deciding

I have my days and moments that get me....

But, I don't want to end my year, reminicing on things I couldn't change.

This week we have taken full advantage of being with our loved ones.

I even spent a little time Sunday with my best friend of 15 years.

I am so thankful for these times, they truly show me the blessing in life.

Yesterday, Hubbs and myself had a complete day to ourselves.

I have to be honest...Im a grump when it comes to waking up on Mondays...it's hard to get up and get movin...this obviously affects my blogging...please forgive me...

Oh and I've lost 20 lbs.

This time of year I carry around a heavy heart...

9 years ago when we lost a very special person in my family.

God took him home to play on the clouds in Heaven.

Even though I know it was for better, I still ask why.

I still hurt just as if it happened yesterday.

I want the answers, but afraid if I had them, I wouldn't want them.

His eyes shinned blue and his hair glistened blonde.

His thumbs always tucked inside the palms of his hands

and how his big bright smile always warmed my heart.

Guys, I am so sorry I am down in the dumps.

Some days in December are easier than others.

Then there are days like today when I can't get it out of my mind.

The thought of what my brother is going through still is unbearable for me.

Because I know I wouldn't have a heart left without either of my children.

So, I ask of you to give your thoughts and

send up some prayers for us and especially my brother.

In 6 days he will face the nightmare he had to 9 years ago all over again.

Death has never been an easy word for me to swallow.

I don't think it is for anyone.

I've lost a lot of people I loved.

Which should help me understand,

instead it confuses me more.

It's Christmas time and I wish he were here.

Even if it wasn't Christmas time, I'd wish he was here.

Whew.

Today has been a long day already...I'm ready for a nap.

With all that has been said, y'all have an amazing weekend Dolls,

Tis the Season for happiness...

First and foremost, I have to admit, I missed ya'll like crazy crazy bad.

I didn't have much time on my hands while Hubbs was in Seattle and while I was visiting the fam to read or write...so forgive me since I haven't been such good bloggy friend lately and thank y'all for sticking around!

So Steff and Jess got here safely and we had such a great time! I really hope your Turkey Day was just awesome as ours was. We had a blast and the din turned out to be delish. Whew.

Reason for this ridiculously huge smile on my face....EEhhh hmmm.. besides the fact we we're totally swwwwoooonnnniiinnggg our little hearts out for Edward...gosh, that boy makes my heart skip beats, beats and beats, I got to do it with my Boo Boo cakes!

A week flew by WAY too fast and of course I kicked and screamed was a little upset to watch my Steffers drive away...but we parted with some amazing memories to take with us! It won't be very long and we will be spending a week at the beach with each other.

Hubbs is back from Seattle. I hate it when he leaves and I love it when he gets back. There's not a feeling in the world that beats the one I get when he looks in my eyes, kisses me and twirls me around and tells me he loves me... best feeling in the world ladies. He brought back lots of goodies for me and the kiddos. But most importantly, he has figured out my obsesh I have for that sparkly vampire guy, so he decided to buy me Twilight. Um, best gift ever! Oh and I finished reading it in 1 day. If you haven't read it, please do. It gave me butterflies....boy did I get butterflies. Santa promises to bring me the rest of the series for Christmas, that is if I don't complain too much about not having them right now. I can barely wait.

Earlier that night before I picked up Hubbs, Mergz (bestest that has yet to do her blog post on her engagement, hmph.) and I picked out my amazing MOH dress. Um, gorgeous is what it is. I am loving how happy she is, finally. To make it the most amazing day ever, it snowed like crazy, wintery fairy land...like woah. I haven't seen it snow like that in Bama since 93'!

Saturday was a blast as well. I can't tell you how much I enjoy family football days!

Ehhh Hmmmm, I think this calls for a ROLLLLL TIIDDEE! 2009 SEC Champs!

I hated to see Sunday come, but I was also glad it did. I was ready to get home, unpack, clean and put up the decorations for the happiest time of the year.

Also, I have a suprise...guest poster...Im quite excited about! It may be this week, if not then definitely next week. I can't wait for you to meet this amazing person. Oh and I gave in and became a tweeter...yes, I am apart of the birdie clan...I haven't got the hang of it quite yet, but bare with me, tweet tweet!!!
